Adair CCTV Systems at work!
Here is an great example of equipment from Adair CCTV in action. This is a story about a bread vendor allegedly stealing a cash bag from Oklahoma Station convenience store out by Lake Tenkiller. They have our Videopark model VP-DVR-H1601 installed covering their property. Without video surveillance, even if an employee witnessed the theft it would be an issue of their word against his without the sheriff’s deputy catching the suspect with the money bag in his possession. Because the theft was caught on video Oklahoma Station should have ALL THE EVIDENCE THEY NEED!
According to the newspaper story the amount stolen was approximately $1,020.00. This one theft would have completely paid for an Full 8 Channel System and almost paid for an Full 16 Channel System in just these two incidents. Video Surveillance is your best defense against shoplifters, employee dishonestly, credit card fraud, and bogus checks. Video surveillance also helps migrate liability from lawsuits if someone was to slip and fall or injure themselves in another way while they are shopping at your business.

Video surveillance systems pay for themselves??
In the world of retail stores shoplifting COST BUSINESS OWNERS THOUSANDS of dollars a year. And the smaller the products are, the easier it is for thieves to make off with your merchandise. Convenience stores are especially vulnerable to these problems, but any store with merchandise that will fit in a bag or a pocket that the public can get to without help from an sales associate is at risk.
Video surveillance is best way to mitigate this risk and save money. Many business owners have reported that reduced inventory shrinkage has off set the cost of the video surveillance system in as little as 6 months. Amount of time will depend on the price of the items the business sells and how big of a shoplifting problem they have. With video surveillance business owners can identify shoplifters and can post pictures SO THEY DON’T COME BACK! Most shoplifters are habitual and if they get away with it once they will be back.
After shoplifting, the next biggest reason business have inventory shrinkage is employee dishonestly. With times being tough more employees are tempted to take merchandise from there employer or embezzle cash right out of the drawer. One dishonest employee can do more damage in a short time then shoplifters can. Video surveillance helps an eye what’s happening at your business, and in the case something happens have VIDEO PROOF of what the dishonest employee did.
